Building a Better Future

Before and After: Tridome's Rebranding Journey

In the competitive world of architecture, design, and construction, standing out from the crowd is crucial for success. When I first met Erin and TJ, the founders of Tridome, it was aparent that they were blending in with their competitors and felt disconnected from their existing brand.

In need of clear and compelling messaging, a way to differentiate themselves and an impactful visual brand – they sought out our expertise. Together we developed a brand that would deeply align with them and resonate with the right people.

In this blog post, I delve into Tridome's rebranding journey'; exploring their revamped logo, impactful messaging, and redesigned websites.

Crafting a Powerful Message

Through Brand Camp, we embarked on a collaborative journey, engaging in deep discussions and answering critical questions to uncover their core values, strengths, and unique selling propositions for both Tridome Structures and Tridome Studios, their sister brands.

What became clear was their commitment to building a better future for everyone.

Tridome creates vibrant environments that nurture people, communities and the planet. They have a deep desire to shift all industries to build with a positive social, environmental, physical and psychological impact on their communities.

Now that’s a powerful legacy brand, and one I was definitely excited to be a part of!

We honed in on their signature process, which evaluates the physical, environmental, social, and psychological impact of each project. This became the foundation for everything we created.

A Visual Identity That Stands Tall

With a clear message in hand, we turned our attention to developing a visually striking brand identity for Tridome.

Their old logo and color palette blended in with their competitors. In an industry where green is associated with sustainability and natural materials, and where brands tend to lean towards a generic and masculine aesthetic, we recognized the need for Tridome to stand out.

Our mission was clear: create a logo that would break free from the industry norms, capturing attention with its distinctiveness and inject personality into their brand.

Their new logo encapsulated the essence of their business – the integration of mass timber and architectural fabric membranes to create stunning, adaptable environments that give back more than they consume.

The construction of the logo serves as a symbol of their commitment to sustainable building practices.

Redesigning the Digital Presence

A crucial aspect of the rebranding process was revamping Tridome's online presence. We worked closely with their team to design visually captivating and user-friendly websites for both Tridome Structures and Tridome Studios. Each one showcases their portfolio of projects, highlights their expertise, and effectively communicates their unique value proposition.

Plus, each website clearly links to the other making it easy for visitors to navigate between them.

The next step was to update all social media platforms to match the new look and feel and maintain consistency.

Building a Cohesive Brand Architecture

Tridome's rebranding also involved establishing a cohesive brand architecture that connects Tridome Studios and Tridome Structures while maintaining their individual identities.

By carefully aligning their messaging, visual elements, and brand hierarchy, we created a unified brand ecosystem that allowed for easy recognition and understanding of the relationship between the sister companies.

This brand architecture strategy positioned Tridome as a comprehensive solution provider in their industry.

Tridome's rebranding journey stands as a testament to their commitment to innovation and sustainable practices in the construction sector.

By embracing impactful messaging, new logos and a redesigned websites, Tridome has positioned itself as a visionary brand that is pushing the boundaries of what is possible in architecture, design and construction.

“The results are a guide and filter that we use daily to ensure we are on the path we set out on and are providing those we serve.”
– TJ Thompson, Founder of Tridome
