Factora is the new name for the company created by the merger of two of the world’s top makers of manufacturing optimization software. Factora makes their clients – some of the world’s most prominent manufacturers in the fields of consumer packaged goods and brewing – more competitive. Our brand strategy partner, Coin, was engaged to facilitate a brand foundation and develop the new name.
To start bringing this new brand to life, we designed a new logo, website, business cards, letterhead, PowerPoint template, employee badges, signage, email signature, t-shirts and hats, along with a brand style guide.
The logo design conveys Factora’s talent at providing elegant solutions to problems that are highly technical in nature. The two overlapping arrows suggest fast-forward movement for a company whose goal is to dominate its industry by 2020. The colour orange, being atypical for this industry, helps perpetuate that message.
The connected letters convey the smoothness of Factora’s process and solutions. The font feels technical, yet sophisticated, and representative of a world-class brand.
