Beauparlant Design

Responsive Website Design

My husband Philippe is also a creative person. He owns a company called Beauparlant Design and they specialize in architectural interior design and furniture design. I have created a very clean and modern design for all of his branding. The logotype is in black and white and for the website we focus on large, beautiful photographs of his stunning work. The new website is clean and crisp and easy to navigate. The fully responsive website design looks great on your mobile device, tablet and desktop computer. A requirement for the site was that people could swipe gallery images as well as view them in full screen mode. It took quite a bit of research but my developer Daveed Flexer found the perfect plugin.

I also had the pleasure of art directing a photoshoot with Philippe and 5ive 15ifteen photo company for his new headshot. Being photographed is not easy for many people so I was there to make him feel comfortable and relaxed. I was also there to make sure his facial and body expressions we captured fit his personality and the image he wants to project. (see the image below)

Beauparlant has grown over the last year and moved to a new studio at 3 Munro Street in Toronto in the Riverside district last fall. A few weeks ago he was awarded first place for the Sub-Zero and Wolf 2013-2014 Kitchen Design Competition. Check out his amazing work.
