The Alive Dental Rebrand Success Story

In the world of dentistry, most brands look and sound the same – a tooth in the logo and a catchy saying about a brilliant smile.

So how do people decide what dentist to go to?

And how can each practice stand out?

We recently worked with Sharla Aronson, owner of a thriving dental practice in Colorado. Although her clinic delivered top-notch care, its branding posed a challenge for her growth.

Since starting the business back in 2011, Sharla’s practice has evolved tremendously as she fully commitment to biological dentistry. Pair that with her desire for growth and to position her business to sell (if or when she decides to sell) and all the signs to rebrand were there.

The business name Aronson Family Dental got her to where she is but will not get her to where she wanted to go.

Recognizing the need for change, Sharla embarked on a rebranding journey with us – first through Brand Camp and then through the visual redesign of their logo, website, stationery, and social media. This wasn't just a name change; it was a transformation focused on illuminating the link between oral health and overall well-being.

With the new name – Alive Dental – a new logo was needed. We decided to pay homage to the old logo by incorporating the leaf, this time growing out of the name – literally bringing the name to life.

The shift from Aronson Family Dental to Alive Dental embodies her mission: To be health innovators; transforming the dental experience and empowering our patients, team, and industry. 

But the journey didn't stop at a new name and logo. We redesigned their website, art directed a photoshoot, and carefully selected images to include. We even wrote the website copy to ensure that every aspect of their brand spoke with one voice.

Their social media templates and launch plan made transitioning to the new brand smooth and easy. They wanted their patients to feel the same warmth and trust they always have, just with a revitalized look. See the full project in our portfolio here.
